QC Manager

Job Description:
- Development and maintenance of quality management and food safety systems, including HACCP, IPW and assistance with WIETA, Fairtrade and BSCI
- Manage and ensure quality of all the production processes across various production facilities
- Ensure quality compliance of dry goods, including machine pass of new products, intake QC, etc. Work with suppliers to solve dry goods related quality issues
- Manage labs and QC assistants
- Supplier and product approvals
- Supply chain mapping and supplier site updates
- Developing and maintaining material and product specifications
- Bottling requests and service provider spec sheet approval
- Maintain all product and quality related information on platforms of our importers and distributors
- Record and assist in investigation and solving of client complaints
- Assistance in new product development. Obtain and maintain SAWIS label approvals.
Qualifications:
- BSc Food Science/Microbiology degree or equivalent relevant qualification
- 5 years QC experience in a wine-production environment.
