Financial Accountant

Job Description:

• Monthly management accounts and weekly financial reporting
• Budgeting, forecasting, and budget vs actual tracking
• Preparation of Annual Financial Statements (AFS)
• Debtors and creditors management
• Bank processing and reconciliations
• Stock and cost reconciliations (wine inventory & packaging)
• Tax and statutory submissions (VAT, PAYE, Provisional Tax, IT, UIF, WCA)
• Liaison with SARS, auditors, and external service providers
• Audit and independent review preparation

Qualifications:

• B.Com / Accounting or Finance qualification
• 3–5 years’ experience in a similar accounting role
• Agricultural or wine industry experience advantageous
• Strong IFRS and accounting principles knowledge
• Xero (preferred)
• MS Wine accounting / wine management software (advantageous)
• Detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable in a small team
• Able to work on-site in Noordhoek
