Job Description:

  • Managing the shop to ensure that all tasks are completed within time and to the highest standard;
  • Building and maintaining long term customer relationships by being approachable and friendly, and by providing accurate product information;
  • Upholding the company’s brand, values and ethics at all times;
  • Prioritizing and managing multiple tasks and projects of all kinds;
  • Providing administrative support and reporting directly to the Manager;
  • Purchasing, testing and selling precious metals, bullion and diamonds;
  • Managing Petty Cash;
  • Maintaining daily stock sheets and end-of-day cash-ups;
  • Doing adjustments of all purchased items when needed;
  • Ensuring the store upholds brand expectations and standards, and is presentable, immaculate and customer ready at all times;
  • Driving sales to increase profitability and customer bases, by initiating marketing ideas and brand promotions – always striving to achieve monthly targets for the entire team;
  • Ensuring stock inventory and Petty Cash on POS is correct, and that all sales and purchase documents are uploaded along with all the required supporting documents;
  • Diligently verifying all clients as prescribed by the company’s RMCP;
  • Timeously attending to social media leads, as well as queries, and following up in

Qualifications:

  • Excellent people and management skills;
  • Shared values with both the Director, GM and Manager, and able to reflect this demeanour with external parties to maintain confidentiality and discretion;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Afrikaans and English;
  • Excellent numerical skills;
