Junior Graphic Designer

Job Description:

• Roll out and develop existing design concepts across different products and formats
• Layout of packaging, labels, signage and printed material according to established guidelines
• Prepare print-ready files to exact technical specifications
• Support Mid-weight and Packaging Designer with project execution and high-volume output
• Implement feedback accurately and efficiently
• Maintain consistency in typography, layout and overall brand application

Qualifications:

• Qualification in Graphic Design or equivalent experience
• 1–2 years’ experience (internships included)
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Basic understanding of print production and file setup
• Working knowledge of AI-assisted design tools (such as Adobe Firefly, Midjourney or similar)
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English (spoken and written)
• Reliable and consistent in output and behaviour
• Open to direction and able to apply feedback constructively
• Communicates clearly
• Works well within a structured team environment
• Takes responsibility for accuracy and completeness of work
• Appreciation for simplicity, order and well-crafted design
