Regional Finance Manager

Job Description:

  • Analyse asset-level financial and operational performance vs budgets and forecasts
  • Identify risks, underperformance, cost inefficiencies and income leakage
  • Support portfolio performance improvement and corrective action planning
  • Assist with budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections and variance analysis
  • Prepare financial insights, reports, dashboards and Exco presentations
  • Support capex planning, feasibility studies, ROI analysis and project tracking
  • Contribute to buy/hold/sell decisions and asset strategy development
  • Conduct market research (rentals, demand, competitors, trends)
  • Support leasing decisions, tenant performance analysis and income optimisation
  • Collaborate with property, leasing, facilities and finance teams
  • Provide operational oversight on debtors, creditors and property admin functions
  • Monitor operational risks impacting asset value and escalate where needed
  • Handle reporting, governance compliance and general regional office oversight
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and support overall regional asset management objective

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Property Studies, Economics or related field
  • 5–7 years’ experience in asset management, property finance or analysis
  • Experience in property sectors (retail, commercial, mixed-use or student housing advantageous)
  • Strong financial analysis, Excel and modelling skills
  • Ability to translate financial data into commercial insights
  • Strong reporting, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Knowledge of the Gauteng property market is advantageous
