Job Description: 

• Establish and manage a transport broking division in Zambia focused on African operations (excluding South Africa).
• Oversee daily operations and lead the local logistics team.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
• Drive business growth through budgeting, planning, and recruitment.
• Supervise, train, and develop a high-performing logistics team.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Resolve operational issues and maintain strong service levels.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
• Use logistics systems and technology to improve operational efficiency and visibility.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (advantageous).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain management.
• Strong knowledge of logistics within the African market.
• Experience in cross-border logistics and clearing (essential/advantageous depending on role level).
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Strong strategic planning and operational execution skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment.
• Experience using logistics systems and technology platforms.
• Ability to build, lead, and motivate high-performing teams.
