Job Description:
- Assist with purchasing of goods and services required by the business.
- Request and compare supplier quotations and assist with price negotiations.
- Prepare and process purchase orders.
- Follow up on outstanding orders and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate supplier records, pricing data, and procurement documentation.
- Assist with stock control and inventory monitoring.
- Resolve supplier queries and delivery discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures and budgets.
- Capture procurement data on internal systems.
- Liaise with warehouse, operations, and finance teams.
- Assist with monthly procurement reporting.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12
- Previous procurement or purchasing experience advantageous.
- Computer literacy (especially Microsoft Excel and Outlook).
- Experience with ERP or procurement systems beneficial.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver’s licence advantageous.
