Job Description: 

  • Assist with purchasing of goods and services required by the business.
  • Request and compare supplier quotations and assist with price negotiations.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders.
  • Follow up on outstanding orders and deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate supplier records, pricing data, and procurement documentation.
  • Assist with stock control and inventory monitoring.
  • Resolve supplier queries and delivery discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures and budgets.
  • Capture procurement data on internal systems.
  • Liaise with warehouse, operations, and finance teams.
  • Assist with monthly procurement reporting.

Qualifications: 

  • Grade 12
  • Previous procurement or purchasing experience advantageous.
  • Computer literacy (especially Microsoft Excel and Outlook).
  • Experience with ERP or procurement systems beneficial.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver’s licence advantageous.
