Regional Sales Representative

Job Description:

• Conduct regular sales and marketing visits to existing and prospective customers.
• Promote the company’s products and services within the assigned territory.
• Manage all sales-related administration and maintain accurate sales records.
• Update and maintain the sales database.
• Prepare and submit regular sales, service visit, and call reports.
• Maintain and increase order intake and spare parts sales.
• Accurately capture and process customer orders.
• Ensure proper control and management of sales documentation.
• Adhere to company credit and sales policies.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve customer concerns and issues.
• Prepare comprehensive sales quotations for customers.
• Liaise with operational departments to ensure maximum stock availability.
• Provide support to the service department when required.
• Participate in local, regional, and national trade shows and exhibitions.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, products, and market trends.
• Maintain up-to-date product and technical knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Matric Certificate.
• National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a relevant qualification.
• In-depth knowledge of the poultry and piggery industry and related markets.
• Relevant experience and strong technical knowledge of:
  • Poultry system controllers
  • Feeding systems
  • Drinking systems
  • Other products supplied by the employer
• Relevant customer relations experience.
• Relevant sales and marketing experience.
• Financially literate and commercially astute.
