Job Description:

• Lead the company’s overall financial strategy and financial management function.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and board of directors.
• Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, auditors, investors, and other key stakeholders.
• Oversee cash flow management, funding requirements, and banking facilities.
• Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Monitor business performance and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with financial, tax, legal, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and develop the finance team to ensure efficient financial operations.
• Oversee financial risk management and implement appropriate controls and governance frameworks.
• Manage annual audits and liaise with external auditors and advisors.
• Evaluate investment opportunities, funding structures, and business growth initiatives.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, or expansion projects where applicable.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of management accounts and financial statements.

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) or equivalent finance qualification preferred.
• Minimum 8–10 years’ senior financial management experience, with experience in an executive leadership role.
• Proven experience managing relationships with banks, financiers, auditors, and external stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of financial strategy, corporate finance, treasury, and cash flow management.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and risk management.
• Strong commercial acumen and business partnering skills.
• Experience leading and developing finance teams.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence executive decision-making.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and strategic thinking.
• Experience within a multi-entity, group, or growing business environment will be advantageous.
