Functions & Guest Experience Manager

Job Description:
- Manage weddings, conferences, private functions, and group bookings from enquiry to execution.
- Coordinate all event planning, administration, and operational requirements.
- Prepare quotations, confirmations, contracts, and event documentation.
- Maintain professional communication with clients throughout the event process.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Lead event briefings and oversee the successful execution of events.
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences and high service standards.
- Monitor event budgets, payments, and administrative reporting.
- Maintain quality standards and ensure every event aligns with the company’s hospitality offering.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ management experience in hospitality, events, restaurants, hotels, lodges, or wine estates.
- Proven experience managing weddings, conferences, private functions, and group bookings.
- Strong event planning, organisational, and administrative skills.
- Experience preparing quotations, managing budgets, and handling event payments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and administrative reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on guest satisfaction and service excellence.
