Senior Environmental Assessment Practitioner

Job Description:

• Manage a portfolio of environmental assessment projects from inception to completion.
• Conduct and oversee Basic Assessments, Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), and related environmental applications.
• Prepare high-quality environmental reports and technical documentation.
• Liaise with clients, government authorities, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide environmental guidance on residential, mixed-use, and infrastructure development projects.
• Ensure compliance with relevant environmental legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with the management team while taking ownership of project delivery.

Qualifications:

• Registered Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAP).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience managing Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) projects.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, including NEMA, NWA, NEM:BA, NEM:AQA, NHRA, CARA, and related Acts.
• Excellent report writing and technical documentation skills.
• Proven experience managing client and authority relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
