Cost Accountant

Job Description:

• Maintain accurate product masterfiles in Excel and the ERP system.
• Manage product costing and value chain calculations.
• Implement product price increases accurately and on time.
• Support the Sales team with value chain calculations and costing queries.
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities, including transport and freight.
• Assist with foreign creditor claims and reconciliations.
• Coordinate and submit ESG data and reports across multiple countries.
• Assist with year-end audit queries relating to product costing and masterfiles.
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting.
• Maintain accurate records and paperless filing systems.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience with value chain calculations and/or product costing.
• Strong Excel and financial systems skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Able to manage multiple priorities across different jurisdictions.
• Hands-on, proactive and willing to work at a detailed operational level.
