Group Financial Manager (Operations)

Job Description:
- Lead financial management, reporting and governance across the Operations division.
- Oversee month-end reporting and consolidation of financial results across multiple entities.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, Group policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to executive and operational management.
- Analyse financial performance, profitability, KPIs and operational efficiency.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and long-term financial planning.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, funding requirements and liquidity planning.
- Oversee inventory, fixed assets and capital expenditure controls.
- Evaluate investment opportunities, acquisitions and business expansion projects.
- Identify financial risks and strengthen internal controls and compliance.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Lead, mentor and develop finance teams across the division.
Qualifications:
- Qualified CA(SA) or CIMA (CGMA) essential.
- Minimum 5–8 years’ relevant financial management experience.
- Experience in agriculture, manufacturing, logistics or operational environments strongly advantageous.
- Proven experience managing and developing finance teams.
- Strong financial modelling and business evaluation experience.
- Advanced financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting skills.
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting and internal controls.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Experience in performance management, KPI development and risk management.
- Strong leadership, mentoring and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
- High level of accuracy, integrity and professional judgement.
- Ability to work under pressure and translate financial data into actionable business insights.
