Electrical Project Manager

Job Description:

Prepare electrical bills of quantities (BOQs), cost estimates and tender submissions using drawings, site surveys and client requests for proposals.
Manage electrical projects from start to completion, including schedules, budgets, materials, subcontractors and site teams.
Monitor project costs against BOQs and manage variations and final accounts.
Collaborate with procurement on supplier pricing and material planning.
Conduct site surveys and project visits across Angola.
Manage client communication, progress reporting and project handover documentation.
Mentor and develop local team members.
Ensure electrical projects comply with applicable standards and specifications.

Qualifications:

National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current) from a Technikon / University of Technology, or higher.
Proven experience preparing electrical BOQs and tender submissions.
Project management experience in electrical installations.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical contracting.
Working knowledge of SANS 10142 and IEC standards.
Strong Excel skills.
Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
Willingness to relocate to Luanda on an expatriate contract.
