Financial Accountant

Job Description: 

• Accurate and timely financial reporting
• Financial analysis of operations
• Preparation and presentation of annual budgets
• Management and support to Administration team
• Application and testing of internal financial controls at Estates
• Support with preparation of annual financial statements for separate legal entities
• General accounting and administrative functions
• Assistance with implementation of new accounting system

Qualifications:  

• B.Com with Accounting as a major, B.Ac or other relevant B degree
• Relevant financial and management experience in the agricultural environment
• Strong analytical and administrative ability
• Good interpersonal skills
• Above-average computer skills and good knowledge of electronic accounting systems
• The suitable incumbent will be characterised by honesty, drive, strict discipline and the ability to function on own initiative.
