Job Description:
- Business Development & Sales:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for greenhouse projects in targeted markets.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Client Engagement:
- Conduct needs analysis and provide tailored greenhouse solutions to clients.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals.
- Project Coordination:
- Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to ensure feasibility and accurate costing.
- Support clients through technical discussions and project specifications.
- Marketing:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote greenhouse solutions and brand visibility.
- Coordinate digital campaigns, trade shows, and industry events to generate leads and strengthen market presence.
- Market Intelligence:
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
- Provide feedback to management for product and service improvements.
- Financial & Contract Management:
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to maximize profitability while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline status.
- Team Leadership & Management
- Lead and mentor your team to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Set clear performance goals, provide regular feedback, and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts between sales, marketing, and project teams to optimize efficiency and client satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 7–10 years in greenhouse or agricultural project sales, with proven track record in high-value projects.
- Experience in marketing and brand development within the agriculture sector is an advantage.
- 3+ years’ experience managing a team
- Strong understanding of greenhouse structures, irrigation systems, fertigation, and climate control technologies.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
- Ability to design and execute marketing campaigns.
