Job Description:

• Production: Plant citrus, schedule irrigation, apply fertilizer, pest, plague and weed control, prune, harvest, monitoring, all manipulations.
• Personnel and administration: Labor planning and management, recordkeeping, plan transport and accommodation, maintenance (equipment/ orchards / general).
• Financial: Cost control by focusing on productivity

Qualifications:

• Applicants should be post-matric with a relevant tertiary qualification in agriculture. with at least 4 years’ experience in the cultivation of citrus
• Knowledge of modem production practices
• Specific knowledge/ experience in irrigation practices will be to your advantage
• Good leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Especially Excel)
• Table Grape production experience will be to your advantage
