Technical Manager

Job Description: 

• Ensure and manage full compliance with GLOBAL G.A.P., SIZA, LEAF Marque, FSMA, Tesco Nurture, and other relevant audits
• Implement and manage technical systems, including chemicals, fertigation & budget tracking
• Coordinate quality control processes and export claim handling
• Support HR compliance, seasonal recruitment coordination, and training alignment
• Foster cross-department collaboration and take initiative in problem-solving and workflow optimization

Qualifications: 

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a technical, compliance, or management role within agriculture
• Strong knowledge of food safety and agricultural standards
• Advanced Excel, data analysis, and system development (OpenAI & IT integration experience beneficial)
• Confident communicator and effective leader with strong organizational abilities
• Ability to travel regularly between Western Cape and Northern Cape operations (if needed)
• Able to work independently and take full ownership of critical technical processes
