Winemaker

Job Description: 

  • Manage all aspects of the winemaking process, including crushing, fermentation, blending, aging, and bottling
  • Collaborate with vineyard managers to monitor grape quality and determine harvest timing
  • Develop wine blends and styles that align with market trends and brand goals
  • Maintain accurate production records and comply with all regulatory requirements
  • Oversee quality control procedures and perform regular lab testing
  • Supervise and train cellar staff to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Participate in tastings, marketing events, and customer engagement activities as needed

Qualifications: 

  • Degree in Viticulture, Enology, or a related field (preferred)
  • Proven experience in winemaking, with a strong understanding of the production process
  • Excellent sensory evaluation and blending skills
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, especially during harvest season
