Controls Engineer

Job Description:

Develop project-specific PLC and HMI programs
Customize and adapt existing PLC code for unique customer and project requirements.
Design wiring diagrams, schematics, and control panel layouts in AutoCAD Electrical.
Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and remote site commissioning support of pump stations and automation systems worldwide.
Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues during production and field deployment.
Maintain and update the company’s PLC standards, libraries, and technical documentation.
Provide technical support to manufacturing, service, and customer teams.

Qualifications:

5+ years’ experience in PLC programming and industrial controls.
Strong hands-on experience with Schneider PLCs, HMIs, and programming software (essential).
Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical for control design and wiring diagrams.
Knowledge of industrial automation, motor control, and electrical safety standards.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Office suite advantageous.
Strong communication skills, able to collaborate with local and international teams.
Independent and team-oriented work ethic.
