HR & Finance Administrator

Job Description: 

  • Financial Reporting:
    • Collaborate closely with the Financial Manager to provide timely financial reports and updates.
    • Ensure accurate and timely data capture of financial information, including receivables and payables, using Xero.
    • Maintain the payment authorization sheet and promptly record payments.
  • Reconciliation Expertise: Take charge of monthly statement reconciliations, intercompany confirmations, and loan confirmations.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies by loading all invoices and quotations onto the payment authorization sheet.
  • Proactive Problem Solving: Be vigilant in identifying financial issues and promptly report them to the Financial Manager.
  • Seek input and advice when needed to ensure effective issue resolution.
  • HR Support: Collaborate with the HR Manager to handle HR-related matters. Accurately capture and manage Payspace (payroll) information, wages, overtime, and related data. Address employee queries regarding wages and assist with accurate preparation of wages whilst ensuring data accuracy.
  • Efficient Record Keeping: Ensure meticulous data capture on various platforms, including Payspace, People Flow, and Data Gear. Facilitate the onboarding of new recruits and maintain up-to-date employee records.

Qualifications: 

  • Proficiency in financial management software such as Xero.
  • Proficiency in HR systems, ideally Payspace and similar platforms
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under deadlines.
  • Experience in agricultural or farm-related financial and HR administration is preferable.
