Job Description:

• Perform manual and automated testing of web-based software applications.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts.
• Assist with testing using tools such as Playwright, Postman, and Elastic Search.
• Identify, document, and report software defects and issues.
• Create and maintain testing environments and test data.
• Perform OS, VM, and software installations as required.
• Collaborate with developers and technical teams to ensure software quality.
• Conduct functional, regression, and system testing.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving testing-related issues.
• Ensure software meets quality standards before deployment.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 with Mathematics preferred.
• ISEB / ISTQB Foundation Testing qualification or equivalent.
• More than 3 years’ experience in an IT testing environment.
• Experience with automation testing tools and web-based software testing.
• Knowledge of:
  • Playwright
  • Node
  • JavaScript
  • Elastic Search
  • Postman
• Coding skills, preferably in JavaScript.
• Ability to perform OS, VM, and software installations.
• Experience creating and maintaining testing environments.
• Advantageous Skills:
  • ISTQB Advanced Level Technical Test Analyst qualification
  • Experience with network simulation tools such as MIMIC and GNS
  • Linux skills
  • Experience with Jenkins
