Events Coordinator

Job Description:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute events from enquiry to completion
  • Liaise with clients to understand requirements and tailor event delivery
  • Manage all event logistics (catering, décor, entertainment, schedules)
  • Oversee and coordinate staff and external service providers
  • Ensure high service standards and resolve issues during events
  • Manage event budgets, revenue targets, and financial records
  • Maintain bookings, contracts, and administrative documentation
  • Build and maintain client and vendor relationships
  • Support marketing efforts and promote the venue

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years’ experience in event management (hospitality/weddings advantageous)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing abilities
  • Good financial and budgeting experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management systems
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
