Dispatch Supervisor

Job Description:

• Supervise the afternoon dispatch team to ensure orders are loaded accurately and dispatched on time.
• Coordinate drivers and loading assistants, monitor attendance, and provide training to new team members.
• Verify invoices, loading documentation, product quality, weights, labels, and packaging before dispatch.
• Maintain stock accuracy by identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies and assisting with month-end stock takes.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, health and safety, and housekeeping standards throughout the dispatch area.
• Monitor dispatch equipment and vehicles to ensure they are clean, well-maintained, and operational.
• Work closely with the Dispatch Manager to improve workflow efficiency, minimise product damage, and achieve daily dispatch targets.
