Wholesale Sales Manager

Job Description:
- A background in food processing, wholesale or production is highly recommended
- Active sales of bulk products to the wholesale, restaurant and food industries
- Building networks and customer relationships in the on-consumption products and food service market
- Identify new opportunities and clients in national and regional markets
- Plan and attend promotions, functions and trade shows
- Report to the head of production
- Follow up on administrative tasks, including route planning, inventory monitoring and reports
Qualifications:
- A completed National Senior Certificate qualification
- Relevant tertiary qualification would be advantageous
- At least 3–5 years’ experience in sales of bulk on-consumption products
- Established contacts in the restaurant, hotel and food service industries
- A professional, friendly, well-rounded and adaptable individual
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in Afrikaans and English
- Must be willing to travel nationally (based in the Cape or on the farm)
- Must have own transport and a valid driver’s licence
