D365 Systems Architect

Job Description: 

• Manage and maintain the Dynamics 365 Project Operations platform roadmap.
• Oversee prioritisation, scheduling, and delivery of D365-related projects.
• Liaise with Finance, Operations, Sales & Marketing, and Governance teams.
• Chair steering group and change advisory meetings.
• Manage relationships with external D365 support and maintenance partners.
• Ensure compliance with governance, data protection, and system best practices.
• Lead and manage the internal D365 development team.
• Oversee solution design, system architecture, and platform integrations.
• Monitor platform performance, user adoption, and reporting capabilities.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, and process optimisation initiatives.
• Manage change requests, user training, and business readiness activities.
• Maintain system documentation, training materials, and support resources.

Qualifications: 

• 10+ years’ experience with Dynamics / D365 systems implementation and optimisation.
• Strong knowledge of D365 Project & Finance Operations, ERP/CRM systems, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience in project management, financial management, reporting, and resource planning.
• Strong governance, compliance, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing external vendors.
• Degree in IT, Business, Finance, or related field with relevant Microsoft Dynamics certification.
• Experience with Power Platform, Power BI, and change management advantageous.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in professional services or construction industry advantageous.
