Job Description:

Lead and manage the organisation’s financial operations and reporting functions.
Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
Drive automation and continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
Develop and maintain advanced financial models to support decision-making.
Prepare financial reports for funding applications, lenders, and Board presentations.
Oversee and support financial activities across production units and pack houses.
Mentor and manage finance team members across multiple sites.
Lead ad hoc finance projects and strategic financial initiatives.
Continuously improve financial systems for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
Report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

Qualifications:

Minimum 8 years’ progressive experience in finance management roles.
Strong technical finance background with experience in reporting and compliance.
Relevant tertiary finance qualification (CA(SA) advantageous).
Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax, and statutory reporting requirements.
Experience in financial modelling, automation, and systems improvement.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Results-driven, detail-oriented, and proactive working style.
Experience in agriculture or related industry (advantageous).
Ability to work in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
Willingness to travel when required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
