Demand Planner

Job Description: 

• Own and manage the end-to-end MRP and production planning process for assigned product groups.
• Drive the full planning cycle, ensuring alignment between Commercial, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.
• Analyse and validate planning data to identify inconsistencies, trends, and demand variations.
• Maintain and adjust production schedules, ensuring adherence to planned timelines.
• Oversee BOM creation, updates, and maintenance for product groups and items.
• Maintain routing structures, master data parameters, and safety stock levels.
• Create and extend new product items within existing systems and structures.
• Monitor back orders and provide feedback and insights to planning management.
• Liaise with customer service teams regarding ETAs and supply updates.
• Coordinate with product managers on specifications and production requirements.
• Communicate supply constraints and production risks across stakeholders.
• Ensure data accuracy and system integrity within planning tools and SAP environments.

Qualifications: 

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, Planning, or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in inventory management and supply chain planning in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years’ experience working with SAP systems.
• Strong experience with demand planning systems (SAP IBP, APO, Anaplan, Netstock or similar).
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and continuously improvement-focused mindset.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport required.
