Job Description:
- Develop and implement an integrated strategy for the factory group, focusing on sustainable growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
- Manage the performance of all manufacturing units against budgets, turnover, and profit targets.
- Analyse financial statements, identify trends, and provide meaningful commentary and recommendations.
- Lead the annual business planning process and drive execution throughout the financial year.
- Ensure optimal production processes, cost management, and capacity utilisation across all factories.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and product development across all divisions.
- Build and develop high-performing teams while fostering a healthy and productive workplace culture.
- Collaborate closely with technical, logistics, and commercial teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance and food safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5–8 years’ relevant experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, or production management, with part of this experience at senior management level.
- A tertiary qualification in Food Science, Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.
- Strong technical background in manufacturing and production processes.
- Proven experience in strategic planning and implementation.
- Strong financial insight and a sound understanding of financial management and management accounting, with the ability to analyse financial statements and drive business decisions.
- Experience in multi-site or multi-department management will be advantageous.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage complex operational challenges.
