Financial Accountant

Job Description:

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports across multiple group entities
• Manage supplier invoicing, payments, reconciliations, and debtor processes
• Oversee banking, payroll, and cash control functions
• Support stock control processes and monthly stock takes
• Maintain and audit the Fixed Asset Register
• Ensure VAT compliance and reconcile VAT returns
• Maintain internal financial controls and support audit readiness
• Collaborate with various departments and business units to support financial operations

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Financial Accounting role
• Strong reconciliation, VAT, and supplier management experience
• Experience working in multi-entity environments
• Proficient in Excel, accounting systems, and online banking platforms
• Experience within retail or hospitality finance environments advantageous
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Strong organisational and communication abilities
