Reporting Manager

Job Description:
- Prepare and manage monthly financial, management, and performance reporting packs
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all financial reporting activities
- Develop and maintain reporting frameworks, dashboards, and analytical tools to support business decision-making
- Analyse financial and operational performance and provide meaningful business insights
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
- Strengthen reporting controls, governance, and financial reporting standards
- Ensure compliance with internal reporting requirements and financial policies
- Support external audits and statutory reporting requirements
- Develop automated reporting solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Business Intelligence (BI) platforms
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, systems, and data quality
- Collaborate with finance, commercial, and operational teams to ensure reporting accuracy and relevance
- Provide management with actionable insights to improve business performance
- Utilise data analytics, modelling tools, and AI-driven technologies to enhance reporting capabilities
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field
- Professional qualification such as CA(SA), SAIPA, or CIMA preferred
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in financial and management reporting
- Strong experience in financial analysis, reporting, and performance management
- Commercial or agricultural industry experience preferred
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Microsoft BC) advantageous
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling
- Strong understanding of financial controls, governance, and reporting standards
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet strict reporting deadlines
