Citrus Production Manager

Job Description:

• Manage a 160-hectare citrus production unit and oversee all orchard operations.
• Coordinate daily production activities to ensure efficient and productive farm operations.
• Lead, support, and supervise production teams to achieve operational targets.
• Plan and allocate resources to ensure best farming practices are followed.
• Monitor crop quality, productivity, and operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, SIZA, Global G.A.P., and crop management standards.
• Assist with budgeting, administration, and workforce management.
• Oversee new orchard developments and the management of young orchards.

Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of citrus production and orchard management.
• Experience leading teams and managing farm operations.
• Good financial and administrative skills.
• Strong planning, organisational, and communication abilities.
• Attention to detail with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
• Reliable, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement.
