Logistics Manager

Job Description:

Oversee and manage the company’s logistics and supply chain operations.
Coordinate transport, warehousing, and export activities to ensure the timely movement of goods.
Liaise with shipping lines, clearing agents, transport providers, suppliers, and customers.
Monitor inventory levels, delivery schedules, and logistics costs to improve operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with export regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Resolve logistics issues and implement process improvements to optimise supply chain performance.
Prepare logistics reports and support operational planning and decision-making.

Qualifications:

Relevant tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a logistics or supply chain management role.
Experience within the agricultural, export, manufacturing, or FMCG industry will be advantageous.
Strong knowledge of logistics, freight forwarding, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/logistics management systems.
Excellent planning, organisational, communication, and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with good commercial awareness.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, service providers, and internal stakeholders.
Results-driven with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
