Cape Town
Gerrit is in charge of our Cape Town branch. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and completed his studies at the University of Stellenbosch and the University of South Africa (Unisa). He is also a qualified Commercial Mediator and also has a keen interest in trusts.
Gerrit enjoys travelling, sprearfishing and plays underwater hockey.

Willie is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Director of Exceed, specialising in auditing and valuations. An accomplished athlete, Willie obtained his BAcc degree the same year as competing in the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. He obtained his postgraduate diploma in accounting (PDA) at the University of Stellenbosch in 2001 and commenced his articles with Exceed (Cape Town) Inc. in 2003.

Sunél completed her B Accounting degree and B Accounting Honors degree at the University of Stellenbosch. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant (SA), Registered Auditor and also holds a postgraduate diploma in taxation from the University of Stellenbosch. She specializes in audit and taxation.
She was raised on a fruit and wine farm outside of Franschhoek, is married to JN (also a CA) and has 2 children.
Sunél Louw

Beanca, a director at Exceed Bellville, began her auditing career in 2014 while still studying. Over the years, she earned her Chartered Accountant (CA) (SA) and Registered Auditor (RA) qualifications. She has served clients across various industries, gaining extensive hands-on experience along the way. This journey has given her a deep understanding of client needs, enabling her to deliver tailored solutions.
Beanca Lucas

Ashwon is a qualified CA (SA) who completed his BAcc and BAcc Honours at Stellenbosch University. He kicked off his career at Exceed as a vacation worker, then moved up to audit trainee, and eventually became an Audit Manager. While managing, he also earned his Postgraduate Diploma in Public Finance Management (with Cum Laude honors) from Stellenbosch.

Marlo studied BCom Financial Accounting at Stellenbosch University after which she completed her SAIPA articles in Vredendal.
She worked for Nel Accountants, an associate company of Exceed before moving to Durbanville and joining the Exceed Cape Town office when it opened its doors in September 2005.

Sudé completed her BCom Management Sciences degree at Stellenbosch University in 2018 and joined Exceed (Cape Town) Inc as a SAIPA article clerk in February 2019. She qualified as a Professional Accountant (SA) in 2022 and was part of the top 10 academic achievers for the June 2022 qualifying exam.

Lizahn is a qualified CA (SA). She completed her undergraduate degree through the University of Stellenbosch.
She joined the Exceed team in 2020 as a trainee accountant while completing her CTA level 2 through Unisa. After successfully completing her articles, she started as an audit manager in 2023. She values hard work and enjoys spending time with family.

Hestie studied BCom Management Accounting at Akademia after which she completed her SAIPA articles with Exceed (Cape Town) Inc.
She was declared competent for the SAIPA PE Assessment during November 2022 and obtained her Professional Accountant (SA) membership in January 2023.

André studied BCom Financial Accounting at the University of the Western Cape and later obtained his Advanced Diploma in Accounting Sciences at the University of South Africa. In 2019, he joined Exceed Cape Town as a SAIPA trainee and transitioned to the auditing department as a SAICA trainee in 2021.

Eddy holds a BAcc degree from the University of Stellenbosch and joined the Exceed team as an audit trainee in 2021. He obtained his PGDA with Milpark and is pursuing his CA (SA) qualification. During his spare time, you’ll often find him engrossed in the pages of a good book.

Partner in charge of Exceed (Cape Town) Inc in Somerset West, Dirk is a qualified Chartered Accountant with a B.Compt. (Hons.) degree from Unisa (he has also completed the university’s Management Development Programme). Before joining the Exceed Group, Dirk gained wide-ranging experience at the South African Medical Research Council, PricewaterhouseCoopers (Namibia) and AST Namibia.
Dirk is married with a son and daughter. He enjoys hiking, outdoor activities, travelling and reading.

Conrad obtained his B. Accounting and Management Accounting Honours at the University of Stellenbosch. He then also proceeded with his B Compt Honours at the University of South Africa. Conrad qualified as a Chartered Accountant and was also accepted as a member at CIMA. He commenced his articles with Exceed Somerset West, in 2008. He stayed on as an audit manager after which he became a director in 2014. Conrad enjoys staying active and enjoys golf and running. He is married with two children.

Lourens matriculated in Oudtshoorn, continued his studies at the University Of Stellenbosch and is a qualified Professional Accountant. He has joined the Exceed team at the Somerset West office as accounting manager.
He is married and enjoys camping, socialising and travelling.

Lené, a qualified CA(SA) with a passion for the field, completed her Bachelor of Accounting (BAccounting), a BAccounting Honours degree at the University of Stellenbosch. Drawn to the profession from a young age, Lené began her career by completing her articles at Exceed before taking on a managerial role. Outside of work, Lené enjoys spending time with family, traveling, gardening, and feline companions.

Remalia Greeff is an Accounting Manager with a proven track record in financial expertise. She holds a BCom in Financial Accounting and is a qualified Professional Accountant (2021), graduating from Unisa. Remalia's academic achievements are notable, placing her among the top 10 in her December 2021 qualifying exam. Outside of work, Remalia values spending quality time with loved ones.

Marna joined Exceed (Cape Town) Inc. as an associate director in May 2012 to open an office in Paarl. She specialises in auditing and accounting services.
After she matriculated at Gymnasium High in Paarl, she obtained a B.Acc (Hons.) degree from the University of Stellenbosch in 2001 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in March 2005 at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Paarl.
Marna Barkhuysen

Sonja obtained a BA LLM (cum laude) from Stellenbosch University and was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court during August 1995. She was admitted as a Master Tax Practitioner during August 2008. She has also completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Tax Law at the University of Stellenbosch (cum laude) and obtained an Advanced Diploma in Tax Procedural Law (with distinction) from the International Tax and Finance Institute. She provides legal and tax advice to clients and manages the Fiduciary Services division of Exceed.

Trygve obtained his BCom Accounting degree at RAU/University of Johannesburg and qualified as a Professional Accountant (SA) in 2010. He completed his articles at Tenk Loubser and Associates (Jhb) Inc. and passed his FAIS RE05 Representative qualification in 2012. He joined Exceed as an accounting and audit manager in 2014 and obtained his independent reviewer certification from SAIPA. Trygve was appointed as Managing Director of Exceed Professional Accountants (Johannesburg) when it started up in July 2016.

Bernard studied at the University of Stellenbosch where he obtained a bachelors in Accounting. He also has a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting Sciences. In 2019 he also qualified as a CA(SA).
In 2018 he started as an audit manager with Exceed (Cape Town) Inc., Somerset West. In 2020 he established Exceed Upington.

Jaco studied Bcom Internal Auditing at the University of Pretoria. He then completed his PG DIP in Accounting with UNISA as well as his SAICA articles through Mazars. Jaco is now director of our Plettenberg Bay office. He has lived in Plettenberg Bay for 11 years, is married with two children and enjoys trail running, ocean life and being in nature/outdoors.
