Job Description:

  • Core Financial Accounting & Reporting
    • Recording day-to-day financial transactions: Maintaining the general ledger.
    • Reconciling bank and vendor statements: Ensuring internal records match external bank/supplier data.
    • Monthly financial reporting: Preparing P&L / management accounts and balance sheets
    • Handling of VAT returns: Managing tax compliance and filings.
  • Operational Finance & Payroll
    • The “inbound and outbound” flow of cash and employee compensation.
    • Accounts Receivable (AR) & Accounts Payable (AP): Managing money owed by customers and money owed to suppliers.
    • Processing payroll: Ensuring staff are paid accurately and on time.
    • Management of office expenses: Tracking and reimbursing petty cash or corporate spending.
  • Asset & Inventory Control
    • Tracking the physical and long-term value of the company.
    • Management of fixed asset register: Tracking long-term assets like equipment, vehicles, and depreciation.
  • General Administration
    • The “catch-all” for keeping the workplace functional.
    • Office management: Overseeing the re-ordering of office supplies

Qualifications:

  • Bookkeeping qualification mandatory
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
