Job Description:

  • Financial Manager plays a critical role in analysing data, identifying trends and providing insights to support strategic decision-making within the business.
  • This role involves working closely with various departments to optimise processes, improve productivity and drive growth.
  • Performance Metrics:
    • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of various operations. Forecasting:
    • Use historical data and market insights to create accurate forecasts and assist with resource allocation and inventory management.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Work with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements, cost-saving initiatives, and automation opportunities.
  • Budgeting and Financial Analysis:
    • Assist with budget preparation, variance analysis, and financial modeling to ensure financial goals are met.
  • Reporting:
    • Prepare regular reports and dashboards for management and provide insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Risk Assessment:
    • Identify and evaluate potential risks and opportunities and provide strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities. –
  • Business Analysis:
    • Involved in analyzing financial information from Business propositions and investments.
    • Including cash flow needs, profitability, and risk exposure.
    • Attention to detail and ability to extract meaningful insights from data.

Qualifications:

  • CIMA qualification.
  • Honours degree.
  • 3 Years of relevant experience will be an advantage.
  • Able to prioritise between important tasks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI)
  • Good communication skills in Afrikaans and English, both written and verbal.
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to think critically.
