Junior Accountant

Job Description: 

• Assist Financial Manager with monthly management account reporting
• Assist Financial Manager with annual financial audit working papers and queries
• Support to finance team on any ad-hoc requests
• Accountable for the processing of transactions / bank statements in system
• Perform and post of monthly bank reconciliations – all local bank accounts and credit cards
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with month end processes
• Invoice processing, reconciliation of creditors statements, perform creditors recons, manage creditors age analysis
• Preparation of creditors payments, loading payments on ABSA online interface
• Assist with inter-company reconciliations and journals
• Assist with SARS audits and queries
• Quarterly STATS SA Financial questionnaire

Qualifications: 

•   Relevant qualification and experience required
