The HR Manager will lead and manage all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, compliance, and workplace culture. This is a strategic and hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is passionate about building strong teams and fostering leadership.

Job Description: 

  • Recruitment & Onboarding
    • Lead recruitment processes for all roles across departments.
    • Implement and improve onboarding programs to set new hires up for success.
    • Collaborate with department heads to forecast hiring needs.
    • Verifying work permits, visas during recruitment and onboarding, ensuring legal compliance
    • Drafting and issuing employee contracts, variations and related documentation.
  • Employee Relations & Culture
    • Foster a positive and productive workplace environment aligned with company values.
    • Provide guidance to managers and staff on conflict resolution, communication, and conduct
    • Promote initiatives that boost morale, engagement, and team cohesion.
    • Mange and lead all disciplinary and grievance processes ensuring fairness, consistency and legal compliance
  • Performance and Training & Leadership Development
    • Design and support performance review processes and feedback systems.
    • Partner with managers to develop and roll out training and development programs to enhance workforce capabilities
    • Coach managers to grow as leaders
    • Handle SETSA registrations and claims
    • Cultivate an environment where additional training is available and encouraged
  • Policies, Compliance & Administration
    • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures in line with employment laws.
    • Ensure compliance with legal and safety requirements.
    • Oversee HR systems, employee records, and payroll coordination.
    • Manage work permit and visa verifications and ensuring documentation is kept up to date
  • HR Strategy & Workforce Planning
    • Support the leadership team in aligning people strategy with business goals.
    • Use HR metrics to guide decisions on retention, engagement, and workforce development.
    • Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts across the organization.  

Qualifications: 

  • BCom Human Resources required
