Job Description:
- Oversee and manage the full HR function across multiple company locations.
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Act as a key link between management and employees to address workplace relations and organisational needs.
- Manage employee relations, including disciplinary processes and CCMA representation.
- Ensure compliance with South African labour legislation (BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDA, OHS).
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and standard operating procedures.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and cultural integration across all sites.
- Manage performance appraisal systems, probation processes, and employee development.
- Oversee skills development initiatives, including WSP/ATR submissions and SETA processes.
- Manage Employment Equity processes, reporting, and committee leadership.
- Oversee payroll processes and maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
- Drive HR system improvements and ensure data accuracy across HR platforms.
- Provide HR reporting, metrics, and insights to leadership.
Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in HR Management, Industrial Psychology, or related field (NQF 7+).
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a full HR management role, preferably in multi-site or FMCG/retail environments.
- Strong experience in disciplinary processes and CCMA representation (essential).
- In-depth knowledge of South African labour legislation (LRA, BCEA, EEA, SDA, OHS).
- Experience managing recruitment, performance management, and employee relations processes.
- Strong understanding of HR systems and payroll administration.
- Experience as a Skills Development Facilitator (advantageous).
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
- High level of professional maturity and emotional intelligence.
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport with willingness to travel between sites.
