Job Description:
- Manage procurement activities based on stock levels, demand and supplier performance.
- Create and manage purchase orders using SAP.
- Negotiate with suppliers and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Monitor inventory, material replenishment and goods receipt processes.
- Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders and goods receipts.
- Prepare procurement reports and monitor purchasing KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with logistics, finance and production teams.
- Resolve order, delivery and payment discrepancies.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve procurement processes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Grade 12 or NQF equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years’ purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Diploma in Purchasing and/or Logistics, or a BCom degree.
- Knowledge of SAP and procurement processes.
- Basic understanding of composites manufacturing processes.
- Strong technical knowledge and computer literacy.
- Excellent supplier negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
