Job Description:

Coordinate and manage cold room operations within the packhouse.
Supervise and manage assistants, clerks, and forklift operators.
Oversee the receiving and drenching processes for citrus products.
Monitor and manage the citrus de-greening process and control systems.
Maintain accurate records of incoming citrus products and bin stock levels.
Manage the movement and availability of empty bins.
Take full responsibility for cold room processes, control systems, and product dispatch.
Oversee waste fruit management processes.
Record and maintain accurate dispatch information for table grapes.
Coordinate and manage the pallet loading process.
Verify that pallet information is accurate before loading.
Ensure only authorised products are loaded into containers for shipment.
Support the efficient storage, handling, and distribution of fresh produce.

Qualifications:

Matric certificate with a relevant tertiary qualification.
2–4 years’ experience in stock control, preferably within the citrus, table grape, logistics, packing, or fresh produce industries.
Background in logistics, warehousing, packing, cold storage, or agricultural operations.
Strong administrative and record-keeping skills.
Experience managing stock movement, inventory, and dispatch processes.
Ability to supervise and coordinate operational staff.
Good organisational and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced packhouse environment.
Willingness to work extended and irregular hours during peak production and export seasons.
