Warehouse Manager

Job Description: 

  • Delivery Planning & Coordination
    • Plan and coordinate delivery routes for various customers, including Key Account Distribution Centres, individual stores, and partners
    • Liaise with contract manufacturers and suppliers to arrange collections and deliveries as needed
  • Order Fulfilment & Dispatch
    • Oversee the picking and dispatching of orders across all partners, including export customers, and Marketing giveaways
    • Ensure order statuses are kept up to date on relevant company platforms for tracking and inventory management
  • Inventory Management
    • Conduct regular and ad hoc stock takes
    • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in collaboration with relevant teams.
  • Warehouse Cleanliness & Organization
    • Ensure the warehouse is cleaned regularly and all stock is properly packed away
    • Supervise staff to ensure completion of weekly duties
  • Asset Management, Equipment & Vehicle Maintenance
    • Arrange annual servicing and repairs for warehouse vehicles and forklifts
    • Coordinate with service providers and obtain necessary approvals for maintenance work
    • Effectively manage and steward general warehouse assets
  • Compliance & Authorization
    • Ensure all warehouse operations comply with company policies, safety standards, FSSC22000, and general good practices
  • Team Management
    • Manage and oversee the Warehouse Team, ensuring they fulfil their functions effectively
    • Conduct regular Performance Reviews for the Warehouse Team
    • Handle interpersonal issues, escalating to Management where required

Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar logistics role (3-4 years)
  • Proven experience managing people (a team of 4-10 is a good ballpark)
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 is a plus
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems (we use Cin7 Core as our ERP system)
  • Proficiency with task management systems (experience with ClickUp or similar tools is a plus)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness
  • Valid driver’s license
