Financial Manager

Job Description:
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations (IFRS, tax laws, etc.)
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights to support decision-making
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and other financial aspects of the business
- Coordinate and manage the external audit process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Ensure tax compliance and manage the preparation and submission of tax returns
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Provide strategic financial advice to senior management and the executive team
- Monitor and manage financial risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Supervise and mentor finance team members, providing guidance and training where needed
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) qualification is essential
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and IFRS
- Experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (advanced skills)
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders
