Job Description:

Oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, material handling and stock accuracy.
Manage material picking, kitting and issuing to support production schedules.
Identify and resolve stock discrepancies, shortages and material availability risks.
Analyse processes and implement efficiency and cost-saving improvements.
Develop SOPs, work instructions, KPIs and warehouse procedures.
Optimise warehouse layouts, storage strategies and material flow.
Assess capacity constraints and recommend operational improvements.
Lead and develop warehouse staff while promoting accountability.
Collaborate with Procurement, Planning, Production, Quality and Engineering teams.

Qualifications:

BEng, BTech or Advanced Diploma in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
3–5 years’ experience in manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, production or warehouse operations.
Experience in process improvement, inventory management, material flow or production planning.
Strong ERP system knowledge; SYSPRO experience advantageous.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience developing KPIs and implementing operational improvements beneficial.
Additional qualifications in Lean Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Operations Management advantageous.
Valid driver’s licence; forklift licence advantageous.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
Hands-on approach and willingness to work on the factory floor.
Leadership potential and ambition to progress into broader operations management roles.
